Billie Hobbs Leeth is an experienced attorney who has handled everything from personal injury to workers’ compensation to torts, maritime law, automobile accidents, and more. Billie is a graduate of T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond, where she was a member of the University of Richmond Law Review. She also served as a Law Clerk at the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University Legal Advisor’s Office. Upon graduating from law school and prior to joining the law firm, Billie worked for Kaufman & Canoles, P.C., where she handled a variety of civil cases and was responsible for conducting extensive research on everything from creditors’ rights to construction law to antitrust issues.

In 1997, Billie founded Second Chair, Inc., a Virginia-based corporation that provided a variety of services for attorneys, including research, writing, and analysis. There, Billie assisted attorneys with legal research, writing, documentation, and trial preparation for a range of practice areas including personal injury, criminal law, workers’ compensation, commercial litigation, taxation, and more. 

Billie is an accomplished attorney and legal researcher having written over 100 appellate briefs for filing in the US Supreme Court, 4th Circuit, VA & NC Court of Appeals, and VA, NC & SC Supreme Court. Billie’s experience makes her an invaluable member of the Breit Biniazan team.

When she is not working, Billie enjoys cooking, gardening, and hiking. She enjoys spending time with her husband, who is also an attorney, and they have resided in the Church Hill area of Richmond for over 20 years. They have one daughter, Annie, a musician and producer residing in Athens, Georgia.
